Metrosideros Maori Princess

A pohutukawa cultivar with striking red flowers in spring and summer. It was selected (in New Plymouth in the 1970’s) as a superior street plant because it has open branches and does not get the aerial roots from branches as some pohutukawa do. Plant in full sun to semi shade in a free draining soil. H 5m at 10 years, 10m mature.
