Hebe azure (speciosa blue)
This hebe is hard to confuse with others with it broad, fleshy, blunt leaves and distinctive blue-purple flowers. Rather than having lots of flowers covering it, it tends to have few flowers over many months of the year. Naturally occurring on sea cliffs of the Nth Island.
Hebe speciosa has been split into the two flower colours it is now called Hebe azure for the blue form and Hebe speciosa for the magenta form.
