Fertiliser – Yates, Gro-Plus, Garden Lime

For raising the pH of acid soils and preventing calcium deficiency.



Features:

Increases soil pH which allows more nutrients to be available to plants.

Helps improve soil structure by promoting composting of organic matter.



Ingredients:

Calcium carbonate.



Directions for use:

One adult handful holds approximately 100 grams.

Apply in preferably warm, moist conditions. Generally applications in autumn or late winter are suitable, 2-3 weeks prior to applying other fertilisers.

Heavy clay soils – 500 grams per square metre.

Lighter soils – 200 grams per square metre.



Precautions:

Do not apply in close proximity to acid-loving plants such as azaleas, camellias and rhododendrons.
